- Design, develop, refactor, test, and maintain applications, services, APIs, and frameworks that support scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and technical solution reviews to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Leverage AI-assisted development practices to improve software delivery speed, code quality, testing effectiveness, and documentation.
- Review code for maintainability, performance, security, and adherence to established engineering standards and best practices.
- Build and maintain tools, automation, and processes that improve software delivery, release readiness, and developer productivity.
- Mentor developers through technical guidance, documentation, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives that promote team growth.
- Improve coding standards, reusable design patterns, team workflows, and engineering practices while accurately estimating work, identifying risks, and delivering high-quality solutions on schedule.
- 5+ years’ experience in software engineering and modern application development, with experience designing, building, and maintaining enterprise software solutions.
- 2+ years’ experience in cloud technologies, AI-assisted development, or related technical domains, with working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong software engineering expertise in one or more technologies such as Python, C#, Node.js, or similar modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Experience with software design, automated testing, CI/CD practices, code reviews, secure coding principles, and Agile software delivery methodologies.
- Ability to effectively utilize AI coding tools and coding agents for software development, code reviews, testing, documentation, and productivity improvements.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, debugging, communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and business domains.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience driving engineering standards, reusable development patterns, and software delivery best practices across teams.
- Passion for mentoring developers and fostering technical growth through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing.
- Experience building automation solutions that improve development efficiency, release readiness, and operational excellence.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and technical innovation.

Range:
Minimum: $105,000 USD Maximum: $178,000 USDThe salary range provided reflects the national average for this job title and does not represent compensation specific to Epicor Software Corporation. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and market factors relevant to the position.
