What you'll do
- Streamlining workflows and implementing best practices to improve the design team's efficiency
- Facilitating team rituals, such as stand-ups, critiques, sprint planning, and design reviews, to ensure they are efficient and productive
- Maintaining project management tool hygiene (e.g., Jira) to keep tasks up-to-date and accurately assigned
- You will learn project coordination within a defined scope such as project managing and workflow planning with design managers and/or design leads to define project goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Facilitating team communication through documentation (e.g. Wiki), meetings, dashboards, newsletters, and reports
- Available for a full-time 12-week internship, working from our Austin office 3-5 days a week during the summer (May-Aug)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree or enrolled full time in an equivalent training program in a quantitative field, such as Design Management, Data Science, Psychology, Journalism, or Business Management
- Human-focused, highly-collaborative, critical and strategic thinker
- Interest, curiosity, and experience engaging with and using AI tools
- Demonstrated skills and experience in helping scaling and improving operational workflows
- Experience working on programs with fluid requirements and shifting priorities, and able to keep teams focused on results necessary for achieving the latest goals/objectives
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
