About the Role

The Product Information Management Specialist is responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing Order.co’s product catalog to improve customer purchasing efficiency, drive cost savings, and support revenue growth. This role involves detailed data management, vendor research, pricing optimization, and real-time order analysis to ensure catalog accuracy and effective product substitution.

Key ResponsibilitiesCatalog Maintenance & Data Management
  • Add, update, and maintain vendor pricing and product availability for high-volume and high-impact SKUs
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of catalog data across internal systems
  • Identify and correct discrepancies in product information, pricing, and availability
Product Optimization & Substitution
  • Map product substitutes and recommend viable alternatives based on pricing, availability, and customer needs
  • Analyze product relationships to support intelligent substitution logic
  • Execute catalog enhancements to reduce friction in the purchasing process and improve fulfillment rates
Vendor Research & Data Sourcing
  • Source product and pricing information from vendor websites and portals with speed and accuracy
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vendor offerings and pricing structures
  • Facilitate communication with vendors to obtain quotes and confirm product details
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Quality Assurance
  • Partner with the Data team to quality-assure (QA) product enrichment and catalog updates
  • Support internal initiatives to improve catalog structure, usability, and data integrity
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of catalog processes and tools
QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies in large datasets
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to follow through on tasks independently
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets
  • Ability to learn and navigate new tools and systems quickly
