Product Manager (Digital Products)
About the Role

At Ferrovial's Digital Hub, we are redefining how digital products are designed, built, and operated. As software development becomes increasingly supported by AI agents, we are seeking a Product Manager who combines strong product thinking and business stakeholder engagement.

This role owns the product lifecycle end-to-end, from discovery and definition through delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement. Success requires balancing business vision, agile delivery, and the ability to guide and validate solutions developed with AI-assisted tools and teams.

How the Role Is Evolving

The role reflects the changing landscape of digital product development.

  • AI is increasingly supporting technical execution, making product direction, judgment, and decision-making more valuable than manual delivery.
  • Small, multidisciplinary teams are taking ownership of products from concept through production, reducing traditional handoffs and silos.
  • Productization, cybersecurity, scalability, compliance, and operational readiness are considered from the earliest stages of product design.
  • Product leaders are expected to blend business acumen, product vision, and delivery oversight with an understanding of modern technology and AI-enabled development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, prioritize work, and drive decision-making.
  • Lead product discovery and shaping activities, including requirements, prototypes, solution concepts, and delivery estimates.
  • Guide and supervise AI-assisted development efforts, ensuring clear specifications and traceable requirements.
  • Define acceptance criteria and validate delivered solutions against business needs.
  • Ensure products are designed for scalability, maintainability, security, and compliance from the outset.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across product, development, architecture, QA, and AI-enabled delivery.
  • Monitor product adoption, performance, and user experience, prioritizing improvements based on data and feedback.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of product practices, tools, and AI-enabled ways of working.
Qualifications

Required

  • Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role delivering digital products end-to-end.
  • Strong understanding of software development and architecture concepts, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
  • Experience translating business needs into clear, actionable product requirements and specifications.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled solutions, including large language models, agents, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements related to digital products.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred.

Preferred

  • Experience working in AI-native product development environments.
  • Knowledge of UX and product design principles.
  • Experience with data governance, responsible AI frameworks, and privacy regulations.
