About Numa

Numa is building the system to power AI-native dealerships, rearchitecting automotive service and sales with advanced AI agents that automate customer interactions, streamline operations, and reimagine how dealerships work. Numa integrates AI into every aspect of dealership functions, from rescuing customer calls and voicemails that generate more revenue, to reducing customer resolution times to drive overall customer satisfaction (CSI), to improving dealership team productivity and accountability. Numa has raised $50 million from leading investors (Google, Threshold, Costanoa, Mitsui, and Touring Capital).

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Product Manager with exceptional judgment and a builder's drive to turn hard customer problems into products dealers rely on.

You'll own customer problems end to end, from the dealership floor through launch and proven impact. Those problems rarely stay inside one product. A car moving from a first call to a finished repair order touches the phone, the advisor, the technician, parts, and the DMS, so you start with the problem and work across whatever parts of Numa it takes.

You'll report directly to Andy Ruff, co-founder and CPO. This role can be remote, hybrid, or onsite.

What You’ll Do

  • Spend time in dealerships with advisors, BDC teams, and managers to learn how the work gets done and where it breaks down
  • Turn customer insight, product data, and business opportunity into a focused point of view, including what not to build
  • Find the fastest path to learning with Engineering and Design. Prototype, test real workflows, and make the calls that keep things moving
  • Turn complicated workflows into simple experiences, and sweat the edge cases
  • Define what our agents should do, how we judge their quality, what happens when they're wrong or unsure, and when a person takes over. Weigh what they can do against what they cost
  • Take products to market with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and partners, from pricing and pilots through adoption
  • Define success before you start. Use adoption, revenue, and unit economics to decide what to double down on and what to stop

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS at an early-stage or high-growth company, with a track record of shipping products customers pay for. We care more about what you've built than where you worked or for how long
  • You have exceptional product judgment and taste, and you move with urgency. You turn ambiguous problems into focused solutions and would rather test an idea than debate it
  • You've personally driven products from idea through launch and adoption, working closely with Engineering and go-to-market teams
  • You work AI-native. You use tools like Claude Code and Cursor to research, analyze data, prototype, and build. We'll ask you to show us something you've built
  • You've shipped AI features, and you know how to evaluate systems that don't give the same answer twice and how to design for when they fail
  • You're technical enough to work through APIs, integrations, data models, and architecture trade-offs with engineers
  • You're at home in the data and a product's economics
  • You write plainly, make recommendations others can act on, and bring people along without relying on authority

Nice To Have

  • Experience in automotive retail or dealership software, such as DMS, CRM, or service scheduling
  • Experience with telephony, contact centers, or conversational AI

What Success Looks Like

  • Dealers adopt what you ship, and you can show the impact in numbers
  • Engineering, Design, and the field trust your calls and understand the why behind the roadmap
  • Ideas move from concept to validated prototype quickly, with dealers in the loop early
  • AI features ship with clear quality bars and hold up in real dealership conditions

Why Join Numa

  • Rethink how an entire industry works, end to end, with AI. Most dealership software was built before AI, and you'll help decide what replaces it
  • Build AI that does real work: agents that talk with customers, coordinate complicated workflows, and help dealerships run their business
  • Be part of a company named the #1 fastest-growing AI Automotive company by Inc. 5000

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary Range: $150,000 - $220,000 (final package is based on experience)
  • Equity Package
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) plan
  • Flexible PTO

At Numa, you’ll help bring game-changing technology to an industry ready for innovation. If you love working close to the product, thrive in fast-moving environments, and want to know how great products reach the market, we’d love to hear from you.
