What’s this role about?

We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager with deep knowledge of the U.S. energy industry to join our growing team.

You will be supporting the development of the company’s Product, Communications & Content strategy, business development, and the customer’s journey, their implementation and evaluation across all existing markets in the US.

As a part of a small marketing team, you will be involved in all marketing projects, working closely with other global teams, including sales, account management, product, R&D, regulations, and new market expansion, among others to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive awareness and adoption of our energy management solutions.


Key Responsibilities

Product Expertise & Positioning

  • Develop deep understanding of our product value propositions across market participation (trading, forecasting), battery management, and demand-side response (DSR)
  • Create compelling product positioning and messaging that clearly articulates our differentiated value to target personas
  • Collaborate with product managers on industry analysis to identify competitive market trends and opportunities
  • Develop competitive battlecards highlighting our unique differentiators in the energy industry

Content Creation

  • Produce high-quality marketing content including product collateral, case studies, and thought leadership pieces
  • Tailor existing content for different customer journeys. This will include translating GridBeyond’s technical messages into blogs, web copy, advertorials, email campaigns, showcase customer success stories, deals won, and strategic partnerships through engaging content
  • Develop customer advocacy programs to amplify satisfied customer voices
  • Work with internal subject matter experts to translate technical capabilities into clear business benefits

Product Promotion & Campaigns

  • Manage proactive and consistent product promotion across LinkedIn and online trade publications
  • Collaborate on integrated marketing campaigns offering product perspective and differentiated value propositions. Write compelling stories and captivate your audience using our collaterals as a CTA to assist the sales team in securing meetings. Email marketing by target industry, persona and product offering. Bundling collaterals using tools such as mailshots, landing pages, downloadables, webinars to communicate key messages to prospects.
  • Plan and execute product launch events that generate excitement and drive adoption
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all media channels and touchpoints

Event Management

  • Lead planning and execution of all U.S. marketing events, including industry conferences and webinars. Comprehensive management of the company presence at industry events, relevance & qualification, including researching suitable events, finding relevant attendees against sales targets, securing speaking slots and exhibition opportunities, and generating positive media coverage.
  • Represent the company at key U.S industry events and build relationships with potential customers
  • Coordinate with the sales team to maximize lead generation and follow-up from events
  • Measure and report on event ROI and effectiveness


What do I need to be a good technical fit for this role?

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience in the energy industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of energy markets, battery storage systems, and demand response technologies
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts
  • Experience developing marketing strategies for B2B technology products
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and campaigns
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field
  • A self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • MS Office, Advanced PowerPoint still able to work effectively both autonomously and successfully with other key members of the team and the wider business
  • Organized and a strong coordinator

Preferred

  • Experience with renewable energy technologies and smart grid solutions
  • Knowledge of energy trading platforms and forecasting tools
  • Understanding of utility operations and regulatory environment
  • Experience with marketing automation Software like Pardot/ Engagement Studio/ HubSpot/ Marketo
  • MBA or advanced degree in relevant field
