Department OverviewThis role will be part of our Product & Portfolio Marketing organization within the larger CMO. Our customers work in some of the most demanding environments in the world, trusting their lives to us daily. Whether it be a fire-rated speaker worn by a firefighter or a discreet earpiece worn by a security professional, our accessories are extensions of the products they trust every day. Job Description
Motorola Solutions has been on the cutting edge of technology for over 90 years, serving commercial, public safety & defense customers. As a Product Marketing Specialist, you are a critical partner to product management, regional marketing, and go-to-market teams. This role requires you to represent the importance of our accessories portfolio to key stakeholders through strong positioning, creative messaging, and winning go-to-market plans.
Additionally, you will represent the product to sales and regional marketing teams by communicating key features, portfolio fit, and reasons to buy. You are responsible for defining the positioning, digital assets, sales tools, and training that enable sales to effectively sell our accessories portfolio.
Our global accessories portfolio is vast & stretches across devices & camera products that serve both public safety and enterprise markets.
Product Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:
- Define and help to execute the market strategy for the accessories portfolio.
- Drive marketing planning and execution for new product releases.
- Provide product marketing direction and conduct reviews of content, campaigns, and training.
- Manage the timely update and publication of accessories catalogs and product datasheets.
- Coordinate with external agencies and internal teams to produce videos, digital assets, and customer case studies.
- Liaise cross-functionally with product, creative, digital, IT, legal, and sales teams to accomplish project goals.
- Provide technical marketing input and sales-focused solution descriptions for various tools across internal & external systems.
- This role will require you to work with people across multiple aspects of the Motorola Solutions marketing organization, as well as members of Product Management, Sales, and regional marketing counterparts globally.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or related field
- Familiarity with the Google suite of office applications.
- Entry-level knowledge of product line, market, and customers.
- Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage a broad portfolio and stay on top of key dates.
- Creative storytelling skills to distill complex products into clear, value-focused messages.
- Highly collaborative and able to build productive relationships in cross-functional environments.
- Experience with digital eCommerce shopping journeys and digital marketing campaigns
- Adept in crafting value propositions and product messaging based on different customer needs.

Target Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
