Job Description:

Duties: Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Collaborate with test engineering and design teams to define test plans, based on knowledge of ATE capabilities and limitations, for new product development. Develop test programs on automated test equipment with an emphasis on quality of coverage and cost effectiveness characterize and debug new chips with design and product engineering teams. Translate product specification and systems requirements into test requirements; define and implement concepts for design for testability and for automatic test software generation; perform bench validation and characterization, developing test plans based on design specification. Responsible for innovating new test methodologies and technologies to reduce development time and manufacturing costs through familiarity with the product, its architecture, and design methodology. Work with teams to plan out projects, debug new silicon and support production ramps and production problems. Lead cost reduction and yield enhancement test solutions as a product ramps production and responsible for parallel test concepts and methodologies.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, foreign equivalent or related field.

Required skills:

Position requires knowledge of the following areas:

1.         High-level programming (C/C++/Java);

2.         Software revision control systems (Git, Bitbucket);

3.         CMOS fabrication technology;

4.         Assembly programming;

5.         Digital systems and circuits;

6.         Reliability testing (HVST, HTOL);

7.         Statistical data analysis;

8.         Logic design/RTL code; and

9.         Microprocessor architecture.

Salary: $122,923.13 per year.
