Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for Product Test Technicians on all shiftslocated in Austin, Texas.  Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.

Ichor Production Team Shift Schedules

  • 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 600am-230pm
  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 230pm-1030pm
  • Upcoming Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday 600am-630pm

 

What is the job?

  • Perform the selection of specialized test equipment, set-up, calibration, Helium leak testing and mechanical assemblies
  • Knowledge of Transducer, Mass Flow Controller, Regulators and Pneumatic valves components 
  • Read Flow diagram drawings
  • Troubleshoot / debug issues, isolate defects and assist in solving defects
  • Work independently with moderate supervision
