We are hiring Production Editors to join our team working on end-to-end digital website projects for one of our largest clients, a Bay Area based creative tech company. In this embedded role, you will act as a copy editor and proofreader, while also helping manage copy as it moves through creative reviews and into digital placements.

  • Drafting accessibility copy using a template and/or AI tool
  • Drafting alternative versions for global partners based on existing copy
  • Managing copy after creative reviews as it moves into production, including reviewing and making edits in website builds
  • Communicating copy changes to developers in as clear and as concise a way as possible

We’d like to know that you have:

  • At least three years with specific copyediting and proofreading experience
  • A sharp eye for detail and excitement about learning the intricacies of new products
  • Comfort with learning new tech tools, and an interest in developing new systems that help creative teams work more efficiently
  • Comfort with proofreading quickly when needed
  • Comfort with collaboration, proactive communication, and considering many opinions
  • Experience and familiarity with working on a Mac, and using Pages and Box a plus
  • Digital agency experience

The target range of compensation for this role is $75k - 110k and accommodates multiple levels. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
