The Program Coordinator will manage platform logistics, oversee user support, and coordinate with various teams to ensure systems are operational and optimized for user experience.
Vocal is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Program Coordinator to join our team.
The Program Coordinator will play an integral part in managing systems for our Vocal's platform. They will be responsible for making sure our systems are operational, optimized, and organized such that we can provide a seamless experience to users, and meaningful data for our clients. This is a full-time position through November 2026, with the opportunity for extension.
Responsibilities
- In coordination with Director of New Programs, manage platform logistics and back-end: including drafting or automating briefs, updating back-end systems, QAing landing pages
- Work with operations team to manage payment and onboarding logistics in a consistent and repeatable process
- Manage content management system as necessary, including user tagging
- In conjunction with the team, oversee user support via email for large user base
- Potentially work with analytics team to troubleshoot data flow and database integration
- Suggest optimizations to user flow and platform features, potentially working with developers to develop feature requirements
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in systems and program management for political causes, or a related field (agency or creator economy experience a plus)
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills; able to track multiple streams of work and keep databases up to date and aligned
- Strong attention to detail and database experience a huge plus
- Deep interest in social media, digital culture, and the creator economy—especially at the intersection of creators and social impact
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
- Passion for progressive politics and strong cultural competency
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with variable hours and strict deadlines
- Experience using Notion for task management, documentation, and collaboration is a plus
