Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an opportunity for a Project Executive to join our National Industrial team!
The Project Executive (Industrial, Science & Technology) oversees the pursuit, planning, execution, and delivery of industrial construction projects with a focus on science and technology applications. This role involves managing specialized facilities such as high-tech manufacturing plants, laboratories, or biotech production sites with cleanrooms, R&D labs, or advanced manufacturing lines, integrating cutting-edge systems.
Some things you can expect to do:
Pursue & Win Work:
Lead Ryan responses to requests for proposal for project opportunities
Guide the pursuit team and the bidding, budget and schedule strategy
Make effective and convincing formal sales presentations to prospective clients
Lead design, engineering, preconstruction and planning services for designated project(s), primarily focusing on:
Project planning and coordination
Project kickoff and setup
Client communication
Engineering guidance
Design team collaboration
Equipment vendor design, process and procurement management
Project entitlement and permitting management
Risk management assessments
Quality assurance assessments
Project Team roles and responsibility development and management
Collaborate with Ryan internal partners to lead the facilitation and development of:
Preconstruction budget development
Value engineering process
Project GMP/ Contract value finalization
Schedule development
Owner agreements and exhibits
Additional responsibilities that support other project or company related tasks:
Support Ryan real estate development activities
Coordinate a transition of project responsibilities from preconstruction team to project execution team during construction documents phase
Develop and build relationships with potential clients and current customers
Support for business development strategies
Provide specialized mentorship to execution teams
Display leadership skills and ensure your team is carrying out work promptly and effectively
Coordinate all aspects of the Ryan business model and promote innovation within Ryan
Resolve conflicts with win-win solutions

Have experience working on projects that have real estate development activities
Have experience in a wide range of project delivery methods, including lump sum, CMaR, General contracting, design-build, EPC, and Cost plus with GMP
Bring considerable experience collaborating with MHE/ Automation vendors/ integrators
Have extensive client and consultant contacts related to the manufacturing industry
Understand national construction markets and have advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, building types, estimating, scheduling, cost control and material pricing
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees in engineering or technology management are a plus.
Experience: 10+ years in construction management, with 5+ years leading science and technology projects (e.g., labs, data centers, R&D facilities).
Skills:
Deep understanding of science and tech infrastructure (e.g., MEP systems, IT cabling, vibration control).
Proven ability to manage complex, high-budget projects with technical precision.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, etc.) and BIM (Building Information Modeling).
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), CCM (Certified Construction Manager), LEED AP, or OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
Knowledge: Familiarity with science and tech standards and experience with modular or prefabricated construction is advantageous.
Compensation:
The salary range is $145,600 - $200,000. The salary base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
