Job Description

Evergreen Innovation Group, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a Project Executive, Low Voltage with a minimum of 15 years of experience in low voltage and mission-critical/data center construction within an electrical general contracting environment. This is a critical leadership role responsible for providing strategic direction to project teams to deliver complex low voltage systems on time, while maintaining the highest levels of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

 

This individual will be ultimately responsible for business development, contract negotiations, insurance requirements, and the high-level execution, project controls, engineering coordination, cost, risk, and business management of one or more large, complex projects. Management will focus on low voltage systems including structured cabling, fiber, security, fire alarm integration, AV, and BMS/controls within data center and mission-critical facilities, as well as other DPR core markets: Healthcare, Advanced Technology, Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Commercial.

 

Project Executives will work closely with all members of the Project Team and Regional Leadership. Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, the following:

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Management of all project team members (Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Office Coordinators).

  • Mentor, develop, and train team members to support continuous improvement and long-term growth.

  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate understanding of and enthusiastic alignment with the vision and mission of EIG.

  • Maintain detailed, hands-on knowledge of project scope, requirements, and deliverables for low voltage systems.

  • Provide executive-level oversight of cost control, billings, collections, change management, and monthly status reporting.

  • Ensure accurate estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance across projects.

  • Serve as a key point of contact with owners, clients, general contractors, designers, and trade partners.

  • Lead and support project teams and field operations, including self-perform low voltage work.

  • Accountable for overall project success including schedule, financial results, risk management, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

  • Actively participate in regional operations including staffing, business planning, preconstruction, and pursuit strategies.

  • Support business development efforts related to data centers and mission-critical low voltage opportunities.

  • Ability to travel to and from the office and assigned job site(s) as required.

 

Required Skills and Abilities

We are seeking a flexible, detail-oriented leader with the ability to manage multiple complex projects while producing high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will possess:

  • Excellent listening, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Proven ability to mentor, develop, and lead high-performing teams.

  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical and operational issues.

  • Ability to promote and sustain strong team morale.

  • Demonstrated understanding of low voltage building systems and integration, particularly within data center environments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Prolog or similar), accounting/cost management software (CMIC or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar).

  • Experience managing multiple large-scale, technically complex projects.

  • Strong work ethic with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

 

Education and Experience

  • 15+ years of Project Management experience within electrical commercial construction.

  • Extensive experience with low voltage systems, preferably in data center and mission-critical facilities.

  • Experience working for an electrical general contractor strongly preferred.
