Job Description:

Position Overview:

The Project Implementation Engineer plays a pivotal role in leading and integrating cross-functional teams on capital projects to ensure the successful commissioning, validation, and start-up (CVS) of new products and equipment.  

    The Project Implementation Engineer in all projects is committed to ensuring that start-ups are safe, produce high-quality products, and meet the critical success factors (CSFs) necessary to fulfill business objectives.

    This role requires the ability to travel up to 50%-75% to provide regional support dependent on project workload.

    What are we looking for?

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field, OR a high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant work experience.

    • At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in consumer-packaged goods (CPG).

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or lean manufacturing.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Experience leading multi-plant or multi-unit projects.

    • Training in project management, food safety, associate safety, P&L principles, and supply/manufacturing practices.

    What are your key responsibilities?
    • MSE process integration in design: Support the integration of pillar requirements into designs and request necessary documentation to support pillar requirements  

    • Strategic Planning: Co-develop execution strategies and plans for site projects. Mentor Associate Project Implementation Engineers in planning smaller projects.

    • Effective Communication: Use storytelling and visualization to effectively communicate and engage key stakeholders and partners.

    • Site Readiness: Ensure the Site Readiness plan aligns with overall project milestones, minimizing undue burden on cross-functional resources.

    • Success Criteria: Achieve success criteria with thorough documentation and handover signoffs to confirm project completion.

    • Technical Support: Facilitate technical commissioning and validation by providing the right materials and resources at the right time, proactively identifying risks.

    • Project Delivery: Ensure new projects deliver the committed benefits and KPIs as outlined in the project description.

    • Handover Strategy and Tracking: Lead the team through the Handover process ensuring relevant items are completed with supporting evidence. Support site audits as needed.

    • Training Integration: Incorporate Operations & Maintenance training plans into the project schedule, tracking status and completion for successful start-up.

    • Efficiency Optimization: Implement strategies to efficiently convert materials into quality products, maintaining a zero-waste mindset.

    • Problem Solving: Identify and address gaps in execution processes and systems, developing cross-functional solutions to drive improvement.

    • Risk Management: Proactively communicate site needs and requirements, identifying risks that could impact products, people, or sites.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive accountability, close resourcing gaps, and support other functions to achieve project milestones.

    • Expand beyond Projects: Depending on project workload, this role can support sites, R&D or engineering initiatives to drive value beyond projects.

      The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

      The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 86,720.00 - USD 119,240.00
