The Project Lead will support Austin Energy on the Electric Vehicle & Emerging Technologies Program. This role supports operations of a large-scale public and fleet EV charging network, working closely with internal and external cross-functional teams to maintain operational excellence. The Project Lead will assist with incentive processing, compliance verification, and reporting for EV rebate programs. This position also supports data validation, quality assurance, and reporting accuracy across multiple EV programs and operational platforms. The role contributes to outreach and education efforts that promote EV adoption and program awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day operations of more than 1,200 EV charging ports within the Plug-In Everywhere Network.
  • Process incentives and verify compliance for Austin Energy Electric Vehicle rebate programs.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Support data validation, quality assurance, and reporting accuracy across multiple EV programs and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve scalability of EV operations and enhance the customer charging experience.
  • Participate in outreach and education events to promote EV programs and adoption.
  • Provide regular operational updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Manage and analyze large datasets using Excel and other reporting tools.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in project or program coordination/management.
  • 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools, with an emphasis on Excel reporting.
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2-3 years of experience with climate action solutions.
  • 2-3 years of experience with electric vehicles and related technologies.

  • Candidates selected for interview may be required to undergo a criminal background check and a drug screen in accordance with Federal and State Law.
  • Offers of employment are contingent on a successful background check.
