Overview
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about language quality and audio performance? Welo Data is launching an exciting Audio Recording Project and is looking for experienced professionals to join our team as Quality Assurance Reviewers.
In this role, you will review audio recordings to ensure they meet linguistic, cultural, and technical quality standards. You will play a key role in maintaining excellence across all recordings.
What you will do:
- Review candidate-submitted audio recordings.
- Evaluate pronunciation, fluency, clarity, and overall speech quality in the target language.
- Assess alignment with project requirements and language standards.
- Apply predefined evaluation criteria to determine pass/fail or scoring outcomes.
- Identify linguistic errors, unnatural delivery, or quality concerns.

Location: Remote
Language: English (New Zealand)
Job Type: Freelance/Independent Contract
Pay Rate: $44/hour
Requirements:
- Native or professional proficiency (C1/C2 level) in English and the target language.
- Strong understanding of linguistic quality standards and cultural nuances.
- Excellent listening skills and strong attention to detail.
- Experience in QA, language review, linguistic validation, or similar roles preferred.
- Background in linguistics, translation, teaching, acting, voice coaching, or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to provide clear, structured, and constructive feedback.
