Job Summary:**
The Project Manager I will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and closing of various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role supports senior project managers and contributes to the overall success of Primoris Services Corporation's diverse projects.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose solutions.
* Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
* Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and presentations.
* Support contract administration and change order management.
* Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.
* Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving.
* Learn and apply company project management methodologies and tools.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or assistant project management, preferably in the construction or heavy civil industry.
* Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Basic knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality assurance procedures.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
