Project Planning Supervisor

Your role in our success will be:

The Supervisor of Project Planning is responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling of projects or programs within the organization, enterprise wide. This role ensures that project plans are developed, maintained, and executed effectively to meet organizational goals and deadlines. The supervisor collaborates with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

What youʼll be working on:

  • Provides leadership and guidance to the project management team.
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive project plans and schedules.
  • Coordinates with project managers and teams to gather project requirements and timelines.
  • Monitors project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Identifies potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensures resource allocation aligns with project needs and priorities.
  • Prepares and present project status reports to senior management.
  • Implements best practices and tools for effective project planning and scheduling.
  • Facilitates communication among project stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies and procedures

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of project management, construction management, engineering including leadership and direction of contractors and/or employees, oversight of people for budgeted projects and schedule
  • PMP preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Strong knowledge of project planning tools and software (e.g., MS Project, SAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to effectively manage a team
