About the Role

MWH is seeking a Project Systems Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX. This individual will manage the systems for the entire Walnut Creek Project, ensuring all systems comply with safety, legal, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist project teams with the setup, configuration, and administration of approved company software, including Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, Smartsheet, Power BI, and other approved tools.
  2. Provide training and ongoing support to project personnel on the use of approved software platforms and project systems.
  3. Develop and maintain project metrics, dashboards, and reports using established company standards.
  4. Collaborate with the project team to identify reporting requirements and implement standardized reporting solutions.
  5. Support company workflows, templates, guides, and system configurations, adapting them as needed for project-specific requirements.
  6. Support project systems planning and execution throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  7. Coordinate with project engineering, project management, software vendors, and internal support teams to resolve system and process issues.
  8. Ensure project systems and associated processes comply with safety, legal, contractual, and company requirements.
  9. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for project systems from project initiation through closeout.
  10. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and technology adoption to increase project efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (STEM majors preferred).
  2. 1+ years of experience in construction, engineering, wastewater, infrastructure, or related industries.
  3. 1+ years of experience supporting cloud-based software platforms and project management systems.
  4. Experience with project controls, document control, data management, reporting, or project systems administration.
  5. Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  1. Attention to detail.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  3. Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI.
  4. Experience supporting Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, or similar project technology platforms.
  5. Familiarity with data integrations, workflow automation, and process standardization.

Certifications (Preferred but not Required)

  • Bluebeam Certified Professional
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
  • Procore Certification
  • Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate
  • Autodesk Construction Cloud Certification

Compensation

  • The anticipated compensation for this position is $82,000 - $92,000/yr., depending on experience.
