The Role

As a Proposal Manager, you will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to bring key stakeholders into the proposal lifecycle and support core activities such as compliance, requirement clarification, and risk identification for simple and complex proposal pursuits. You will also develop deliverables across a range of pursuit types, including Requests for Proposals (RFP), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs). You will lead the development of clear, compelling proposal narratives that drive winning outcomes and transform complex technical input into persuasive, high-quality content in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead proposals, MSAs, and SOQs from initial kickoff and planning through final submission.
  • Analyze RFP requirements to create compliance matrix, propose template, team assignments, and production schedules.
  • Facilitate internal kickoff sessions, strategy discussions, and formal reviews with executive leadership.
  • Oversee content development, formatting, and graphics to ensure clear alignment with company win themes.
  • Work with technical staff and project managers to gather, refine, and translate complex data.
  • Maintain proactive communication across teams to unblock issues quickly and adhere strict deadlines.
  • Update and optimize the proposal boilerplate, resumes, project profiles, and content asset libraries, utilizing responsive platforms.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6–8 years of proposal experience in A/E/C, EPC, utilities, or professional services.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for document clarity and compliance.
  • Proven track record of managing tight timelines, complex schedules, and multiple moving parts.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and standard content tools.
  • Skilled at gathering information from technical teams, project managers, and executive leadership.
  • Driven to improve workflows, manage boilerplate text, and maintain organized asset libraries
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint, ProjectWise, and the Responsive RFP platform is preferred
  • APMP Foundation/Practitioner certification is a plus
  • Ability to travel upon request
