BAE Systems is looking for a Quality Tech to join the Quality Control team at the Austin, Texas facility. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time onsite. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Responsibilities of Quality Tech include:• Establishing verification and validation processes for the inspection and acceptance of hardware, software, and data deliverables through First Article Inspections per AS9102.• Supporting the execution of an effective ISO 9001 internal audit strategy to verify the conformance of processes in accordance with the QMS.• Creating presentation materials for upper management including reports to Customers and Government representatives.• Reviews production records for conformance to procedures.• Performs analyses, inspection, and tests of material, components, and/or finished products from manufacturing to ensure quality standards, compliance to customer, regulatory and BAE requirements.• Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies and data related to production.

Full-Time Salary Range: $55500 - $88800

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-3+ years of direct related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working, interfacing and interrelating with diverse personnel, both operational and technical
- Must exhibit initiative and leadership skills necessary to collaboratively prioritize and adapt daily schedule to best support business critical needs
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in dynamic, cross-functional teams
- Strong and demonstrated communication skills (written, verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, PowerPoint, & Excel
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience in ISO 9001 / AS9100 / AS9102
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Environments
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Experience
- FAI Documentation and Completion Experience
