The Deposit Pricing and Analytics team is responsible for setting the interest rates on all deposit accounts (e.g., checking, savings, and CDs) within the retail line of business at JPMorganChase, which has the largest deposit base among all banks in the United States.

As a Quant Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for deposit-based strategic analytics to help inform pricing strategy. You will also be responsible for end-to-end analytics that answer challenging, open-ended questions that drive product decisions and inform on deposit trends.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own complex, strategic analytics to determine impacts of potential pricing actions with a specific focus on CDs and elasticity testing
  • Establish yourself as the firmwide subject-matter expert on CD data, serving as the go-to resource for all CD-related questions and support
  • Translate analytical results into clear, compelling visual narratives and present regularly to senior leadership
  • Use transaction data to gauge the impact from yield-seeking behavior and macroeconomic trends on deposit balances
  • Closely partner with pricing strategy leads as well as finance, branch network, marketing, risk, and product partners
  • Develop interactive, automated dashboards that allow partners to quickly self-serve data
  • Stay informed of competitors’ changes to deposit products and pricing structures as well as broader economic trends that impact pricing strategy

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years in data and analytics, finance, pricing, treasury, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL and at least one analytic tool such as SAS, Python, or Alteryx
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
  • Proven ability to query large-scale datasets to solve highly complex problems
  • Demonstrate confidence and passion for using data and analytics
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization techniques 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • A background in financial services, consumer banking, or a related industry
  • Mastery of Tableau or similar analytics platforms with experience in creating automated solutions
