Job Description:

This position will be responsible for processing incoming shipments of raw materials and finished products that arrive at the warehouse/distribution center and manufacturing building. They will review the contents for accuracy, supplied documentation, properly labeling, and ensure the product is delivered to the correct department or stored in the appropriate location. They will verify orders by comparing the packing lists to purchase orders and making sure that all proper documentation was sent. They will follow receiving instructions and move product to its correct physical location and update inventory within the electronic quality system/ERP system. They will inspect products and raw materials for damage or defects.

Tasks, Roles, and Responsibilities

  • Inspect, receive, label, and distribute all product and raw materials that arrive at both the warehouse/distribution center and manufacturing building.
  • Receive product back from the sterilizer each week and complete work orders for each department.
  • Perform incoming inspection and testing activities following a sampling plan for certain materials.
  • Perform in-process testing activities such as post sterilization pull testing of suture after receipt from sterilizer.
  • Inspect, count, and tamper seal product that are received back from the sterilizer.
  • Update spreadsheets with traceability information after receiving process for certain materials/products.
  • File inspection records into banker’s boxes.
  • Be involved in daily management meeting each day to go over receiving metrics.
  • Occasionally help with product returns and determining appropriate status and location of returned product.
  • Occasionally help with supplier monitoring activities such as maintaining supplier certificates.

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Experience working at a medical device company or related industry. One year of experience preferred.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to follow inspection protocols, sampling plans and incoming testing protocols.
  • Cross-departmental communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with physical activity and movement throughout the day.
  • Basic math skills and computer skills.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$19.50 - $27.20 per hour
