We are on the lookout for a Receiving Lead to help coordinate daily receiving operations, support and develop team members, and ensure inventory is received accurately, safely, and efficiently.

Shift Time: 6AM – 4PM, Monday to Friday

In This Role

  • Support the Assistant Manager and Manager by coordinating daily receiving activities and promoting safe, efficient operations
  • Assist in supervising, training, and coaching Receiving Associates assigned to your shift
  • Coordinate inbound receiving activities, ensuring shipments are unloaded, inspected, and processed accurately and efficiently
  • Verify received product against purchase orders, packing lists, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation
  • Process inventory transactions and ensure accurate product receipt within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Assist in resolving receiving discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damaged goods
  • Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), product handling standards, and safety requirements are followed
  • Assign and monitor daily work activities and support the completion of special projects
  • Report and troubleshoot nonconforming materials through the Internal Corrective Action Reporting (ICAR) process
  • Conduct daily stand-up meetings to review safety, performance, and workload priorities
  • Support warehouse productivity, quality, and inventory accuracy goals
  • Collaborate with Inventory Control, Quality, Transportation, and Warehouse Operations teams as needed
  • Ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and compliant with all safety programs
  • Correct unsafe conditions and immediately escalate uncorrectable issues to warehouse leadership
  • Assist in securing the facility at the end of each day
  • Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person

  • 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, receiving, or lead experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience with inventory control processes and warehouse management systems
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and warehouse systems
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance
  • Comfortable with continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, and reaching for up to 8 hours per day in a warehouse environment
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Steel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hours
