Hiller Measurements is a growing, dynamic, high-tech organization in Dripping Springs/Austin area. Inspired measurement design is what we're about. It's a value wrought from decades of component, instrument, and system design experience. We've tested gaming systems, simulated atmospheric effects of satellite communications, designed unique parts of our nation's radar systems, and designed test systems for the most exciting electronic vehicles on the road. From our headquarters in the Hill Country southwest of Austin, Texas, we operate on a lean and flexible basis allowing us to adapt to our client's design needs, budget, and schedule.

Position Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for proactively identifying and engaging qualified candidates for open positions at Hiller Measurements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the search itself, finding talent, learning what makes a strong candidate, and connecting people with opportunities that fit their skills. The Recruiter will use LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, job boards, professional networks, and other sourcing tools to locate prospective candidates and introduce them to Hiller opportunities. The role will begin primarily onsite so the recruiter can learn Hiller's industry, culture, departments, technical roles, and hiring needs. Once a strong understanding of the business and positions is established, the role is expected to transition primarily to remote work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Partner with Human Resources and hiring managers to understand open positions, required skills, experience, and candidate profiles.

· Proactively search for qualified candidates using LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, professional networks, job boards, industry groups, and other sourcing channels.

· Use creative sourcing techniques and targeted searches to identify candidates for difficult-to-fill engineering, program management, production, quality, accounting, operations, and other roles.

· Review resumes and online professional profiles to determine potential alignment with Hiller job requirements.

· Conduct initial outreach & prescreens to prospective candidates through LinkedIn, email, phone, or other approved methods and invite qualified individuals to apply.

· Communicate Hiller Measurements opportunities in a professional and engaging manner while accurately representing the company and role.

· Maintain organized records of sourcing activity, candidate outreach, responses, and referral status.

· Follow up with prospective candidates appropriately and maintain professional communication throughout the sourcing process.

· Learn Hiller Measurements products, departments, terminology, technical environment, and hiring needs in order to improve candidate targeting.

· Research new sourcing channels, professional groups, schools, associations, and other resources that may provide qualified candidates.

· Protect candidate and company information and maintain confidentiality throughout the recruiting process.

· Perform other recruiting and sourcing-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

· Strong interest in recruiting, talent sourcing, and finding qualified candidates.

· Persistent, resourceful, and comfortable searching beyond traditional applicant pools.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage prospective candidates professionally.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to represent Hiller Measurements positively to prospective candidates.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to manage multiple open positions and sourcing priorities at the same time.

· Comfortable working independently and being accountable for sourcing activity and follow-up.

· Ability to learn technical and manufacturing-related positions and translate job requirements into effective candidate searches.

· Proficiency with LinkedIn and online recruiting/job-search platforms; experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools is a plus.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, email, and general computer-based research tools.

· High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication or a related field (Required). 

· 3+ years’ experience recruiting, talent sourcing, staffing, sales, business development, or candidate outreach. (Required)

· Experience sourcing technical, engineering, manufacturing, or skilled-trade candidates (Required).

· Demonstrated ability or strong interest in researching and identifying qualified candidates through online platforms.

· A passion for recruiting and connecting qualified people with the right opportunity is highly valued.

· Must be able to work onsite initially in the Austin/Dripping Springs area to learn Hiller Measurements and its hiring needs before transitioning to a primarily remote arrangement.

· Schedule and weekly hours will be determined based on business and recruiting needs.

Physical Requirements

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to communicate by phone, video conference, email, and other electronic methods.

· Must be able to access and navigate the organization's facilities during the initial onsite familiarization period.
