OUR MISSION

We exist to create a more connected, compassionate, and confident experience for people with cancer and those who care for them. We make it easier to get answers, access high-quality care quickly, and feel supported throughout treatment and beyond.

Today, Thyme Care is a market-leading value-based oncology care enabler, partnering with national and regional health plans, providers, and employers to deliver better outcomes and lower costs for thousands of people across the country. Our model combines high-touch human support with powerful technology and AI to bring together everyone involved in a person’s cancer journey: caregivers, oncologists, health plans, and employers.

As a tech-native organization, we believe technology should strengthen the human connection at the center of care. Through data science, automation, and AI, we simplify complexity, improve collaboration, and help care teams focus on what matters most: supporting people through cancer.

Looking ahead, our vision is bold: to become a household name in cancer care, where every person diagnosed asks for Thyme Care by name. If you’re inspired to make cancer care more human and to help reimagine what’s possible, we’d love to meet you. Together, we can build a future where every person with cancer feels truly cared for, in every moment that matters.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Recruiting Manager, you will own and drive hiring across key parts of our non-clinical care teams. You will lead a team of recruiters and contractors, while also staying close to execution on critical roles. This is a player-coach role where you are responsible for both team performance and delivering against hiring goals when necessary.

  • Own hiring outcomes for assigned areas of the non-clinical care team, including pipeline health, time to fill, and quality of hire.
  • Manage and develop a team of recruiters and contract resources, providing coaching, prioritization, and day-to-day support to ensure strong execution.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and functional leaders to scope roles, align on profiles, and drive clear, efficient hiring processes.
  • Stay close to execution on key or high-priority roles, stepping in directly when needed to unblock or accelerate hiring.
  • Use data, reporting, and process improvements to monitor performance, identify gaps, and scale recruiting effectively.
  • Integrate AI tools and automation into the recruiting process to increase the team efficiency, improve decision quality, and expand overall capacity without replacing human judgment.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, including experience owning full-cycle hiring in high-growth or high-volume environments.
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring recruiters, contractors, or coordinators, with a track record of improving team performance.
  • Experience hiring for operations, customer-facing, or care delivery roles at scale.
  • Strong track record of managing multiple roles and stakeholders in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Comfortable using data and metrics to manage pipeline health, prioritize work, and drive outcomes.
  • Experience operating in a startup or scale-up environment, with the ability to balance structure and speed.

WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS

We believe these characteristics would lead to your success in the role:

  • Members-first. Thyme Care’s mission and members matter to you, deeply.
  • Operator mindset: You focus on outcomes and take ownership of hitting hiring goals. You bring structure, pace, and accountability to your team.
  • People-focused: You are an active manager who coaches, develops, and supports your team while holding a high bar for performance. You build strong, trusting relationships with hiring managers and act as a partner, not just a service provider.
  • Execution-focused. You are comfortable being in the work while also leading others. You know when to zoom in and when to step back.
  • Agility and Adaptability: You operate well in fast-moving environments, adjusting priorities and approach as hiring needs change.
  • Process and systems thinking: You identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce friction, and scale recruiting effectively.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: You communicate clearly and consistently with both candidates and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and momentum throughout the process.

OUR VALUES

At Thyme Care, our core values guide us in everything we do: Act with our members in mind, Move with purpose, and Seek diverse perspectives. They anchor our business decisions, including how we grow, the products we make, and the paths we choose—or don’t choose.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Thyme Care. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Thyme Care employees. The base salary for this role is $140,000 - $155,000. The salary range could be lower or higher than this if the role is hired at another level.

We recognize a history of inequality in healthcare. We’re here to challenge the status quo and create a culture of inclusion through the care we give and the company we build. We embrace and celebrate a diversity of perspectives in reflection of our members and the members we serve. We are an equal-opportunity employer.

Be cautious of recruitment fraud, and always confirm that communications are coming from an official Thyme Care email.
