This opportunity is full-time during first shift.

In this role, you will:

  • Accurately enter referral laboratory test results and patient data into the LIS, ensuring timely and error-free reporting
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams, clients, and patients to provide updates and resolve inquiries
  • Investigate and follow up on pending or incomplete results, coordinating with reference labs as needed
  • Prioritize workload efficiently, including managing high-volume data entry and older reports
  • Perform clerical and administrative support tasks such as handling calls, emails, and maintaining organized records

All you need is:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong data entry skills with a minimum typing speed of 50 WPM
  • Attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer proficiency and comfort navigating systems like LIS or EMR
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team

Bonus points if you’ve got:

  • Experience in a healthcare or clinical laboratory setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology or formal medical assistant training
  • Prior experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) or electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and identify process improvements
  • Experience supporting high-volume administrative workflows with strong organizational skills
