Job Summary:
Arcosa Aggregates Texas Region is currently seeking a Regional Controller which will be in our Ferris, Texas office. In this role, you will be an integral part of the regional management team leading the accounting department for the Texas region’s aggregate operations.
Day to Day
- Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations
- Prepare monthly financial forecasts and upload/input detailed account projections into the accounting system.
- Complete variance analysis templates between forecast, actuals, budget, etc.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly management performance recaps/binders and corporate reporting templates.
- Participate in annual strategic planning and budgeting process with senior leadership.
- Create other ad-hoc financial, operational, statistical and analysis reports as required.
- Provide financial and business analytical support for field operations and sales.
- Provide leadership and oversight to accounting staff, assist with training and development, help prioritize workload and support field management team as needed.
- Develop and/or enhance tools, reporting, and metrics to improve efficiency, costs and / or data analysis.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in an accounting leadership position
- Familiar with Oracle Financials and strong Hyperion Essbase skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls
- Experience with Oracle Discoverer, NetSuite, and OneStream
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in an aggregates company is preferred.
