Everyone is empowered to offer up and execute on innovative ways to produce results.

The Role:

The Regional Director, Broker-Dealer Advisor Group, is responsible for business development and relationship management of both new and existing clients. They will lead all sales related activities as well as organize efforts of client service team members to effectively address the needs of Advisors in the territory. To be successful, the Regional Director must have a strong knowledge of investments, capital markets and asset allocation theory. The ability to discuss the sophisticated investment solutions that Dimensional provides is critical to working with and influencing Advisors. Just as important, the Regional Director must have a solid business development and client service orientation and understand the issues and setbacks Advisors face in building a client-centric, fee-based business.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales leadership and management of a territory composed primarily of wire-house affiliated financial advisors

  • Proactively generate for new advisor relationships while deepening existing partnerships to maximize Net New Assets (NNA) and market share.

  • Partner with FAs to streamline their practices, helping them navigate platform transitions and shift toward fee-based, advisory models.

  • Establish yourself as a "thought partner" to high-production teams and internal gatekeepers.

  • Deliver high-impact presentations on Dimensional’s investment philosophy and performance at complex-level meetings, regional Wirehouse conferences, and branch office sessions.

  • Act as a sales and thought leader, coordinating with internal product specialists and the client relationship teams to support complex advisor needs.

  • Be a spokesperson and ambassador of the Dimensional brand and investment theory throughout the industry and marketplace.

  • Increase revenues, AUM and Advisor clients within the territory through the profitable growth of Dimensional’s product suite.

What good looks like for a Regional Director:

Your success as a Regional Director at Dimensional is influenced by proactive relationship-building activities and the financial results that are derived from those activities.  Key focus areas:

  • In-person territory management: You will travel extensively across your assigned territory and build relationships via a combination of face-to-face meetings and virtual communication.

  • Sales Success Factors: You drive commercial growth through day-to-day sales activities that build long-term trust. By showing up at regional events, networking actively, and genuinely supporting your clients, you create a natural pipeline of new business that drives net new revenue.

Desirable Experience/Qualifications:

  • Extensive track record in Financial Services, specifically within External Wholesaling or Sales.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA, CFA, or CIMA designation strongly preferred to match the technical sophistication of the firm.

  • Proven network and established Wirehouse relationships (Merrill, UBS, Wells) within Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas.

  • Deep personal conviction in evidence-based investing and the ability to champion Dimensional’s academic-rooted philosophy over traditional active management.

  • Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding NNA (Net New Assets) targets and scaling territory market share.

  • An existing "rolodex" of high-production, fee-based FAs who prioritize fiduciary-aligned portfolio construction.

  • An entrepreneurial "self-starter" mindset with the high energy required to manage a high-travel, high-activity territory.

  • Exceptional ability to translate complex factor-based investing and capital markets theory into clear, persuasive narratives for sophisticated advisor teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with regards to conveying technical investment approaches and key Dimensional selling points in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Ability to present Dimensional’s products and philosophy to small and large groups.

  • Act as a coach and mentor to junior members of the team
