The Regional Partner Manager will support our partner program initiatives.  This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partner relationships that contribute to the growth and success of our organization.  This role will involve creating and executing partner program strategies to drive revenue and expand our partner ecosystem.

Role Responsibilities

  • Win, maintain, and expand relationships with assigned partner organizations and associated partners. Accountable for achieving and exceeding MRR goals. 
  • Develop and execute strategic partner program plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Conduct due diligence and evaluate potential partners based on alignment with OTAVA's goals.
  • Identify, prioritize and recruit potential partners, including VARs, Technology Partners, and position those relationship in ideal industries, and markets for business development.
  • Collaborate with partners to design joint business plans and co-marketing initiatives. Creating mutual success, including incentives and co-selling strategies.
  • Provide training and support to enable partners to sell OTAVA's cloud solutions and services.
  • Proactively lead a joint planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with the sales program 
  • Manage potential channel conflict with other sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement 
  • Maintain high partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards. 
  • Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame 

Experience:

  • 10 years business to business sales experience   
  • Proven experience in business development, partner program management, or a similar role, preferably in the technology or cloud services industry.

Required Experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  •  Minimum of 5 years of sales and/or channel sales experience
  •  3 or more years of experience selling VMWare cloud, AWS, Azure, or other Public cloud services
  •  Strong understanding of cloud technologies and IT services
  •  Familiarity with partner relationship management tools and CRMs
  •  Strong critical thinking and communication skills (both oral and written) 

Education:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Licensing/Certifications:

  •  Advanced Salesforce, SalesLoft experience, relevant Azure, AWS, and VMware certifications
