Our data lineage technology traces the full lifecycle of enterprise data across endpoints, browsers, SaaS, and cloud and that foundation has made us a market leader in DLP and DSPM. It's also the launch pad for the next generation of products we are bringing to market.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales, South East to join our team. This role offers a unique chance to build and grow our presence in the region, driving sales strategies and expanding our market reach.

Who you are:

  • 10+ years of experience selling cybersecurity software (DLP, IRM, CASB, or adjacent data security categories)

  • Experience selling a multi-product security platform, not a single point solution — able to articulate platform value and lead with a land-and-expand strategy across a portfolio of offerings

  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales objectives leading enterprise security and networking sales teams, winning new business and driving substantial growth in Global 2000 accounts

  • Proven ability to build and drive sales teams executing land-and-expand strategies that predictably expand accounts, culminating in being chosen as an enterprise standard

  • Demonstrated competence engaging and developing value-based relationships with C-level executives

  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience, including second-line management, leading strategic software (preferably Key Account SaaS) teams

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to multitask, work cross-functionally, and thrive in a collaborative environment

  • Demonstrated sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Strategic Selling, etc.)

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth software company where change is constant

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly

  • Located in Atlanta or Florida

What you’ll do:

  • Identify and pursue end-user opportunities, while driving interest and enablement with existing channel partners and identifying/onboarding new partners (with the Channels team)

  • Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing enterprise security and networking software sales team, including Account Executives and Enterprise Systems Engineers

  • Drive strategy and lead the Key Accounts team to consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives

  • Develop and lead the plan to significantly increase senior executive relationships with C-level executives in Key Accounts

  • Develop trust-based relationships with leaders across Product & Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success

  • Develop pricing and product competence to play a leadership role in structuring, pursuing, and winning large, complex, multi-product deals across Cyberhaven's platform

  • Execute across all disciplines of sales management: account/territory/opportunity planning, sales methodology execution, forecasting, and professional development

  • Coach the team in a solution-based sales process spanning multiple groups within Global 2000 accounts

  • Proactively identify and address issues that inhibit growth in Key Accounts, and expand Cyberhaven's platform footprint (DLP, Insider Risk, Data Detection & Response, AI data security) in each account

  • Proactively develop key channel partner relationships at the executive level to ensure continued growth and over-achievement

  • Plan and coach prospecting campaigns with the team to ensure pipeline relative to quota for strong future revenue predictability

  • Maintain a 180-day rolling forecast, and build/manage/measure pipeline 6–12 months out

  • Lead and coach all aspects of the evaluation program/proof-of-concept with the team

  • Understand the competitive landscape and general business climate in the region

  • Continually self-teach, as formal training in emerging technologies may not exist

  • Understand and be expert in SaaS and cloud selling economics
