Position Summary:

The Remote Engagement Sales Representative is responsible for engaging Health Care Professionals (HCPs) through telephone conversation and virtual meetings to promote assigned client products, maximize the product’s selling potential, and meet program and client objectives.

The Remote Engagement Sales Rep achieves this by developing and maintaining relationships with HCPs, educating them about product features, benefits, safety profiles, and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use. The Remote Engagement Sales Rep utilizes approved tools for product promotion and maintains a competent level of product, program, and customer activity knowledge. The Remote Engagement Sales Representative is expected to collaborate with client field-based teams and management.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily sales call activity according to defined expectations to influence customers and increase product sales.
  • Promote client product(s) via telephone, virtual (outbound/inbound calls, digital video meetings) by conducting in-depth product discussions with assigned HCP targets.
  • Profile and manage a company provided targeted list of HCPs and provide value-added benefits to grow product volume.
  • Create and implement business plans to achieve territory and business sales goals.
  • Maintain call productivity and metrics as required by the program.
  • Achieve quarterly client sales quotas.
  • Effectively and persuasively communicate with customers using selling, listening, and negotiation skills while utilizing approved promotional aids.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to customer needs and questions within expected timelines.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of client product(s) and program requirements.
  • Verify and complete required data entry in Amplity /Client CRM systems, including details of target responses, call activity, product orders, and any follow-up actions.
  • Fully comply with all laws, regulations, Amplity policies, the Code of Conduct, privacy and data guidelines, and relevant state and federal laws.

Key Working Relationships:

  • Reports to Amplity Sales Manager or Program Director.
  • Collaborates closely with other team members assigned to the program and Amplity home office support.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with customers and client contacts.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years life science or related sales experience.

• Proven record of accomplishment of consistent sales success.

• Flexibility to cover multiple time zones as needed.

• Strong clinical acumen and learning agility.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong rapport-building and active listening skills.

• Effective selling, closing, persuasion, and presentation skills.

• Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology.

• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.

• Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with strong organizational and planning skills.

• Demonstrated technical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital meeting platforms.

• Successfully pass all Amplity and client required training.
