Job Summary

The Renewal Solutions Manager is responsible for supporting the retention of SHI’s renewal business by proactively managing renewal opportunities, enabling sales teams, and driving operational excellence throughout the renewal lifecycle. This role serves as a dedicated resource to sales teams by providing renewal management support, strategic guidance, pipeline visibility, and renewal expertise across a broad portfolio of manufacturers and programs.
The Renewal Solutions Manager partners closely with Sales, Partner Operations, and external vendors to ensure renewals are managed accurately, efficiently, and proactively. This role focuses on improving renewal retention, identifying growth opportunities, optimizing profitability, and providing actionable insights that help sellers maximize revenue within their customer base.

Role Description

  • Serve as the primary operational renewal resource for assigned sales teams and territories.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on renewal programs, processes, tools, and partner-specific requirements.

  • Manage renewal opportunities throughout the renewal lifecycle, ensuring accurate status tracking and timely progression.

  • Develop and maintain a renewal pipeline using internal renewal management and reporting tools.

  • Conduct strategic business reviews and renewal planning sessions with sales teams to align on upcoming opportunities and risks.

  • Provide guidance on pricing programs, incumbency protections, renewal registration opportunities, and margin optimization strategies.

  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and contract consolidation opportunities within the renewal customer base.

  • Create customer-facing and internal renewal quotes in accordance with established processes and partner requirements.

  • Maintain accurate opportunity data and provide visibility into pipeline health, renewal status, and customer engagement activity.

  • Create and maintain internal documentation and knowledge resources.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to improve renewal outcomes.

  • Support process improvement initiatives and automation efforts that increase operational efficiency and scalability.

  • Maintain a high standard of operational excellence, accountability, and customer service while supporting the SHI sales organization.

Skill Level Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams to support renewal management, reporting, and communication activities.

  • Ability to utilize CRM platforms, renewal management tools, and reporting systems to manage opportunity data and drive business outcomes.

  • Ability to analyze renewal data and translate findings into actionable recommendations for sales.

  • Ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize a large portfolio of renewals while maintaining data accuracy.

Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales support, renewals, operations, account management, customer success, or a related business function.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple priorities and stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%

  • Willingness to obtain and maintain Partners’ Certifications during employment

The base salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary and bonus, are $55,000 - $75,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and

flexible spending.
