We’re reinventing the market research industry. Let’s reinvent it together.

At Numerator, we believe tomorrow’s success starts with today’s market intelligence. We empower the world’s leading brands and retailers with unmatched insights into consumer behavior and the influencers that drive it.

The Promo Intel Renewals Consultant owns renewal outcomes across Numerator’s US Promo Intel accounts, from renewal strategy through signed contract. The role is accountable for retaining customers, managing renewal execution, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts through relevant products and solutions.

You will partner with Sales Directors on accounts they support, bringing renewal and Promotions expertise to the account strategy. For accounts without a dedicated Sales Director, you will lead the renewal and maintain regular customer engagement throughout the year. Across the portfolio, you will work with Sales, Customer Success, Sales Operations, Product, Operations, and Finance to resolve risk, close renewals accurately, and improve the renewal process.

Own renewal outcomes

  • Manage a territory of US Promo Intel accounts and deliver against renewal targets by maximizing retention, reducing churn, and identifying account growth opportunities.
  • Build and execute an individual renewal strategy for each account, with clear actions to support growth, strong commercial terms, and an on-time close.
  • Own the renewal process, creating urgency and coordinating the work required to complete each transaction accurately and on schedule.
  • Identify renewal risk early and develop plans to address potential churn well before the renewal date.

Manage customer relationships

  • Build strong customer relationships and stay current on account needs, business priorities, product usage, health, and satisfaction.
  • Partner with Sales Directors on supported accounts as the renewal and Promotions expert, contributing to the strategy and driving its execution.
  • Lead the renewal and ongoing customer engagement for accounts without dedicated Sales Director support, including regular touchpoints outside the renewal cycle.
  • Escalate customer issues to Customer Success or Sales and coordinate follow-through to support resolution and customer satisfaction.

Execute commercial renewals

  • Work with Sales Operations to prepare accurate quotes and commercial contracts, and maintain complete, reliable client data.
  • Negotiate complex commercial terms to support customer value and Numerator’s financial outcomes.
  • Identify and drive upsell opportunities connected to an active renewal, including additional Promo Intel products and solutions; involve Sales Directors where appropriate.

Improve the renewal business

  • Work with Product, Operations, and Finance to simplify and strengthen the renewal process and strategy.
  • Analyze retention trends, commercial terms, and client feedback by product, industry, and team. Share insights that help the business address common risks and improve renewal performance.

What we offer you:

  • An inclusive and collaborative company culture
  • An opportunity to have an impact on our growing teams and organization
  • Market competitive total compensation package
  • Volunteer time off and charitable donation matching
  • Strong support for career growth, including mentorship programs, leadership training, access to conferences and employee resources groups
  • Great benefits package including health/vision/dental, unlimited PTO, 401k plus matching, and more
  • At least four years of experience supporting the renewals process for a sales organization in the SaaS industry or a similarly complex organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience owning renewal outcomes, customer relationships, account management, or a portfolio of accounts, with responsibility for retention and growth.
  • A strong commercial mindset and the ability to identify customer needs, renewal risks, and growth opportunities.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build relationships with people in a wide range of roles within customer accounts.
  • A strong work ethic, sound organizational skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks at once.
  • The ability to work independently, take ownership, make decisions, and proactively move work forward with limited oversight.
  • The ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

If this sounds like something you would like to be part of, we’d love for you to apply! Don't worry if you think that you don't meet all the qualifications here, the tools, technology, and methodologies we use are constantly changing and we value talent and interest over specific experience.
