This is where you come in…

The RCM Team Lead will serve as a key transition partner and operational leader for centralized revenue cycle functions. This role will be responsible for bridging the transition between practice-based operations and the centralized RCM team, ensuring smooth integration, efficiency, and performance alignment. This individual will work closely with regional partners, practice leaders, vendors, and the centralized RCM team to drive operational consistency, optimize workflows, and support change management efforts. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands on execution skills, capable of leading teams while navigating complex transition challenges.

 

Here’s what you’ll be doing…

·       Transition Leadership & Implementation Support: Serve as the primary liaison between internal RCM teams and transitioning practices, ensuring alignment on processes, resources, and performance goals. Monitor transition timelines, ensuring that milestones are met while minimizing operational disruptions. Provide real-time problem solving and escalation management for transition related challenges.

·       Team Oversight & Performance Management: Lead day-to-day operations of the RCM internal/external teams, ensuring accountability, productivity, and quality standards.

·       Operational Optimization & Standardization: Refine SOPs, training materials, and process documentation to support a scalable centralized RCM model. Identify and drive opportunities for process efficiencies.

·       Change Management & Communication: Communicate key transition updates, performance metrics, and operational insights to leadership and stakeholders. Provide training and guidance to internal/external teams and new hires as part of the transition process

·       Vendor Coordination & Support: Work closely with RCM vendors and outsourced partners, ensuring alignment with RCM operations and performance expectations for workflow verticals and/or special projects. Monitor vendor-related performance metrics, ensuring seamless integration with internal teams

 

Here’s what we’re looking for…

·       Associate degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR); or equivalent relevant experience in RCM, billing, or medical collections

·       3+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, or a related field

·       Experience leading billing, collections, denials management, or payer relations teams

·       Strong knowledge of RCM best practices, payer reimbursement policies, and claim adjudication processes

·       Ability to analyze billing and financial reports to identify revenue cycle performance gaps

·       Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities

·       Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex transitions

·       Proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environments

·       Familiarity with EMR/EHR & RCM systems (Centricity, Athena, or similar platforms) is a plus

·       Prior experience in RCM process transition management, or operational leadership is a plus

·       Experience with EDI enrollments, contract interpretation, and revenue cycle reporting is a plus
