Job Overview
The Supply Chain Operations Manager at T-Mobile is instrumental in overseeing and enhancing various facets of supply chain operations. This role involves leading reverse logistics operations at third-party logistics facilities, serving as a crucial liaison between T-Mobile and its vendors and suppliers, and independently managing strategic operational processes, issues, and escalations. The manager supports a range of initiatives from short to long-term, including special projects, integration of new technologies, and transformation activities. They drive continuous process improvements, ensure vendor performance quality, and facilitate the adoption of new systems and technologies. By collaborating with multiple teams across the organization, the Supply Chain Operations Manager develops and monitors programs that optimize operations and align with T-Mobile's strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads operations at third-party logistics facilities to ensure seamless supply chain processes
  • Serves as a liaison between T-Mobile and its vendors and suppliers to enhance partnerships and resolve issues
  • Manages strategic operational issues and escalations independently to maintain continuous service excellence
  • Supports a range of initiatives from short to long-term, including special projects and transformation activities. Develops and monitors programs that align supply chain operations with T-Mobile's strategic goals.
  • Drives continuous process improvements to optimize supply chain operations
  • Facilitates the adoption of new systems and technologies within supply chain operations
  • The Supply Chain Operations Manager is responsible for holding suppliers accountable to contractual SLA commitments, proactively identifying performance gaps and driving resolution to ensure operational continuity

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience
    OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience
    OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Industrial Management or related field (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Managing operations in supply chain, transportation, or distribution within a logistics environment (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Leading vendor management and strategic supplier relationships (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years Implementing and managing new technologies or systems within supply chain operations (Preferred)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification that demonstrates understanding and expertise in project management, which is crucial for leading supply chain improvement programs and special projects. (Preferred)

The base salary range for this role in Irving, TX is $89,200 - $120,600

Base Pay Range: $77,200 - $139,300

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
