About Knack

Knack is a no-code platform that lets businesses, nonprofits, and teams build custom applications without writing code. Founded in 2012, Knack has more than 15,000 users who have built 400,000 apps and stored over 5 billion data records. Our team is fully remote and values trust, continuous improvement, and measurable results.

In March 2026 we launched Knack Health, a HIPAA-compliant version of the platform for small and mid-sized healthcare teams. Clinics, behavioral health practices, home care agencies, specialty practices, and nonprofits use it to build intake forms, scheduling, care coordination portals, and internal tools without hiring developers. Every HIPAA plan includes a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA), encrypted data storage, role-based permissions, and record change logs.

Knack also offers an MCP server that works as a headless backend for AI coding tools such as Lovable, Base44, Claude Code, and Replit. Builders can create an app with the tool they prefer and connect it to Knack for secure data storage, user access, and automation. For healthcare teams, that backend is HIPAA compliant.

Healthcare is one of our main growth priorities, and this role sells Knack Health full time.

The Role

We are hiring a Sales Account Executive to sell Knack Health. You will be our second AE dedicated entirely to healthcare, and you will report to our VP of Sales & Marketing.

Your pipeline comes from inbound contact sales requests from healthcare organizations, with up to 100 arriving each month. Speed matters in this role. You will respond quickly, qualify carefully, and keep deals moving through a fast-paced sales cycle. Your buyers are small and mid-sized healthcare teams, including clinic administrators, healthcare founders, and healthcare IT and technical builders.

You will work daily with our Sales Engineer and alongside our marketing, sales, onboarding, engineering, and product teams. This role is open to US-based candidates only.

This is a remote position based in the United States. Employees must be available during standard US business hours and maintain their primary work location within the US. Any extended time working outside the United States requires prior written approval.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle for Knack Health, from first response through close, and hit or exceed your monthly and quarterly quota
  • Respond to inbound contact sales requests within minutes, qualify them with sound judgment, and prioritize your time across a high volume of leads
  • Run discovery calls with healthcare buyers to understand their workflows, compliance needs, and the outcomes they want
  • Explain a technical product to non-technical buyers in plain language, and connect each feature to a result the buyer cares about, such as hours saved, fewer manual errors, or lower compliance risk
  • Hold technical conversations with healthcare IT and technical buyers, and bring in the Sales Engineer when a deal needs a deeper demo or a security review
  • Position Knack Health accurately, including where it fits alongside an existing EHR and where it does not
  • Keep your pipeline current in HubSpot, with accurate stages, logged activity, and clear next steps, and use Fathom to record and review your calls
  • Share what you hear from buyers with marketing, product, and onboarding so we can improve our messaging, our targeting, and the product
  • Hand off new customers to our onboarding team with the context they need
  • Flag deal patterns and blockers early so there are no surprises in your forecast

What We're Looking for

  • At least 2 years of SaaS sales experience that includes closing deals against a quota. A background as an SDR or BDR is fine.
  • Preferred: 3 or more years as a quota-carrying Account Executive in fast-paced SaaS sales, with a record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Comfort with high lead volume and short sales cycles, including fast follow-up and clear prioritization
  • The ability to sell a technical product and explain its value in terms of business outcomes, to both non-technical and technical buyers
  • Strong discovery skills. You ask good questions, listen closely, and know when to push for the next step.
  • CRM proficiency, ideally HubSpot, with a habit of keeping data accurate and deals moving
  • Consistent follow-through. You do what you say you will do.
  • Experience selling to small and mid-sized businesses
  • Self-motivation and a competitive streak. You track your numbers and care about hitting them.
  • Clear communication in writing, on Zoom, and on the phone

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling to healthcare organizations
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, Business Associate Agreements, and security reviews
  • Experience selling no-code, workflow, developer, or AI tooling

Interviews will be recorded and transcribed by an AI note-taking tool so our team can focus on the conversation and review it accurately later. Notes are used only for evaluating your application. You can opt out at any time by letting us know.
