Our Home is seeking a Sales Analyst to support the Sales team with reporting, trade management support and analytics, as well as key accounts covering Our Home's portfolio of brands. This Analyst role is also accountable to support the Sales Operations Team in working with Our Home key stakeholders to provide insights on category rankings, competitive products, formats, and pricing to drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supports sales reporting data for Sales team, providing detailed (by customer) analysis of actual performance versus plan
    • Consumption Reporting
    • Shipment Reporting
    • Internal Reports/External Reports (Retailer, Distributor, Broker, SPINs, Nielsen)
    • Tracking of Our Home Retail initiatives (e.g.  National Programs, Innovation)
  • Aid in updating Monthly Reports with data/commentary
  • Analyze Spins, Confido and NetSuite BI data to identify optimal promotional item mix and best use of trade dollars (by customer, geography, SKU)
  • Assist in the tracking and recording of revenue & trade spending (Forecast/ LE Process)
  • Supports Customer Category Reviews with Director of Category Management
    • Ongoing analysis of category trends and tactics, lead the development of retailer specific category reviews and assortment analysis
    • Identify distribution opportunities by customer supporting customer Category Reviews as well as Annual Planning process
  • Supports VP Sales Operations in development of annual account planning process including assistance with the organization of historical revenue, spend rates, consumption performance and distribution opportunities
  • Support Sales Team with customer specific historical performance and ad hoc requests

Requirements
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in collaboration with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies is preferred, along with a proven proficiency in pricing analytics, performance management, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft applications, NetSuite and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of and experience with data analytics and BI tools.
  • Strong understanding of multiple syndicated data sources and tools, including customer POS data tools and/or Nielsen; demonstrates a sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate and react to frequently changing business conditions with proven ability to perform under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and ability to work on several deliverables simultaneous.
  • MS Excel advanced level and ability to create confidently draw conclusions from data.
  • Occasional travel to supplier sites or manufacturing facilities up to 10%
