How You'll Make an Impact
  • Engage directly with customers to resolve concerns, support account maintenance, and provide consultative solutions across Spectrum's offerings
  • Apply active listening and respectful communication to deliver outstanding customer service and consistently meet call-handling performance standards
  • Present and explain Spectrum's full portfolio, emphasizing Spectrum Mobile, to address customer needs and strengthen product value
  • Demonstrate proficiency in positioning wireless plans, devices, features, and service options to support retention and re-sell opportunities
  • Process transactions accurately within billing and order management systems, ensuring precise account updates and new sales order entries
  • Identify opportunities to upsell products and services by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor pricing and products to effectively compare offerings and retain customers

Working Conditions
  • Work in an office environment while managing multiple systems and applications during customer interactions and working flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays as business needs require

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and Spanish
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with a customer-focused approach
  • Build rapport, overcome objections, and retain customers through solution-oriented conversations
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, metric-driven call center environment
  • Learn and apply billing, account management, and order entry systems
  • Understand sales practices, customer retention techniques, and service recovery methods

Preferred Qualifications
Experience
  • 2+ years of call center sales experience

Skills
  • Working knowledge of Spectrum products and services, especially mobile offerings
  • Knowledge of competitor wireless, internet, video and voice products and services
  • Bilingual Spanish Required
