The Sales Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of sales compensation programs through a high volume of tactical and operational activities. This role focuses on maintaining data accuracy, processing compensation-related transactions, supporting commission calculations, generating recurring reports, and assisting with the setup and maintenance of compensation plans and employee records. Working under the guidance of senior team members, the analyst will help ensure timely and accurate compensation processing while adhering to established procedures, controls, and service-level expectations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive yet critical operational tasks. This role provides foundational experience in sales compensation operations, systems, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

· Administer and support sales compensation operations, including plan setup, configuration, validation, and year-open activities.

· Set up new hires in the appropriate roles and compensation groups and ensure quota letters are issued within established timelines.

· Perform regular audits, reconciliations, and validations across internal systems (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle) to ensure data accuracy and process integrity

· Produce and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and analytics related to sales organization changes, quota acceptance, headcount activity, and compensation performance.

· Support the Incentive Compensation team by gathering, scrubbing, organizing, and analyzing compensation-related data.

· Maintain detailed process documentation and continuously improve operational procedures and controls.

· Partner with field operations and cross-functional stakeholders to drive corrective actions and improve compensation processes.

· Leverage AI-assisted productivity tools and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, improve reporting accuracy, and increase operational efficiency.

· Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives related to compensation design, reporting, analytics, and process improvement.

Qualifications

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

· Experience in Sales Operations, Sales Compensation, Incentive Compensation, or a related analytical function.

· Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive process improvements.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Salesforce and sales compensation platforms strongly preferred.

· Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and processes while demonstrating initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with a high level of discretion.

· Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
