About the role

As an Inbound Sales Development Representative at HiBob, you’ll be the first point of contact for organisations already showing interest in Bob.
Whether someone has requested a demo, downloaded content, attended an event or reached out through our website, you’ll engage with them quickly, understand their business challenges and determine how HiBob can help.
Success in this role is about delivering an exceptional first experience with HiBob. You’ll qualify opportunities, educate prospects, remove barriers in the buying journey and connect them with the right Account Executive when the timing is right.
Working closely with Marketing and Sales, you’ll play a critical role in converting demand into high-quality pipeline while ensuring every prospect has a seamless and engaging experience.

Job responsibilities

Manage Inbound Demand
  • Respond promptly to inbound enquiries via phone and email.
  • Qualify prospects through consultative conversations to understand business needs, priorities and buying readiness.
  • Schedule high-quality discovery meetings with Account Executives, ensuring an exceptional first experience with HiBob.

Guide Prospects
  • Help prospects understand how Bob addresses their business challenges.
  • Answer initial product and commercial questions, recommend relevant resources, and engage specialist teams when needed.

Drive Pipeline Excellence
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage inbound opportunities effectively.
  • Follow up consistently to maximise conversion and re-engage qualified leads showing renewed interest.

Collaborate Across Teams
  • Partner with Marketing and Account Executives to improve lead quality, ensure seamless handovers and deliver a great customer experience.
  • Share customer insights to strengthen messaging, campaigns and sales processes while contributing to continuous improvement.

  • Commercially minded with a strong interest in building a career in SaaS sales.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and explaining complex concepts simply.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working across Sales and Marketing.
  • Adaptable, resilient and energised by a fast-paced, high-growth environment.


It’s also a bonus if you have:
  • Experience in inbound sales, lead qualification, customer-facing support or SDR/BDR roles.
  • Experience working in SaaS or another technology company.
  • Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
  • Experience with live chat platforms or sales engagement tools.
  • Knowledge of HR technology or HR processes.
