Job Description

Are you looking for the opportunity to contribute momentum to a high-velocity, rapidly scaling company?  Then we’re looking for you!

We are seeking an amazing Sales Development Representative to help take Mirantis to the next level. As an SDR, you are responsible for aggressively prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and developing the marketing & sales  pipeline, while working closely with your Account Executive. This role is the first step in the selling process and presents the first impression of Mirantis to our prospective customers. We’re seeking highly professional, enthusiastic ‘hunters’ with a sales orientation and a drive to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new sales leads through inbound efforts, with a focus on proactive follow-up with interested prospects

  • Generate new sales leads through outbound phone and email prospecting and in close alignment with the sales team

  • Schedule meetings and solution demos for the Account Executives

  • Manage outbound leads process to maximize conversion and pipeline development

  • Understand Mirantis’s offerings and competitive positioning to effectively communicate and apply them to the needs of a prospect

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity and prospect information in Salesforce: The #1 AI CRM

  • Achieve and exceed monthly quotas and objectives

Qualifications

  • Experience in technology solutions, cloud, and Saas - preferred

  • 1-2 years of prior sales development, business development, prospecting or sourcing experience

  • Ability to articulate technical capabilities in terms of business value

  • A strong desire to learn a comprehensive software sales process

  • Strong sense of urgency and motivation to meet and exceed aggressive goals

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • A plus if you are hard-working, competitive, and professional as well as comfortable taking direction and feedback.

  • Experience with tools such as SFDC, Salesloft, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, 6sense etc. preferred but not required
