About You And How You Succeed At Safari AI
You're excited about building a product and creating a market that hasn't been done before. You have a strong bias toward action when you are stuck but are not afraid to ask for help when you need to. You're a high agency contributor, eager to test new ways of doing things and take advantage of the freedom and culture an early stage startup can afford you. You want to lead the company's engagement with category leaders in a variety of industries, solving some of their biggest challenges.

About the Role

Safari AI is a first-of-its-kind computer vision AI platform that enables its enterprise clients to virtually share their IP video camera feed in order to measure and automate action for the most important physical activity in their operations in real-time. The company is looking to double down on Founder/CEO-led growth and is now recruiting for a Sales Development Representative to join the team in their Miami office. It all starts with creating opportunities at the top of the funnel and feeding qualified Enterprise leads to our GTM team. The BDR will immediately have access to all the software tools (e.g. ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Dialpad, etc.) to hit the ground running. etc.

Responsibilities

  • Reach out to Enterprise prospects on the phone daily
  • Utilize the company's software tools to engage and re-engage prospects, both cold and warm
  • Help introduce new ideas and processes to the BDR role and acquiring leads at the top of the sales funnel
  • Set the GTM team up for success by calendaring the right people from prospect accounts
  • Collaborate with all parts of the team, including marketing, operations and product to improve the funnel
  • Be a foundational member of a quickly growing sales team

Requirement for the Role

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or any environment where you had to persuade, pitch, or hustle — internships, campus leadership, athletics, and side projects all count.
  • You have the ability to walk into an early stage sales team and hit the ground running, achieving quotas with enterprise accounts excited to learn more about Safari AI
  • Mature communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Collaborative and instinctive team player, able to take direction and work in a fast paced early-stage startup
  • Work in the Miami office 4+ days/week

Why bet on Computer Vision and Safari AI?

  1. Huge opportunity hiding in plain sight: leveraging already-installed cameras to automate and real-time action on operational data
  2. Already the market leader in enterprise CV by working with industry leaders with billions in revenue
  3. Large chasm between customer knowledge and market availability, i.e. customers don't know what is available in the market...yet.
  4. Early leader in computer vision; everyone is small and unbranded (i.e. no Amazon or Google in the room to compete with)
  5. Very modular, allowing Safari AI and its customers to invent whole new use cases on a regular basis
  6. Developed the tech and data pipelines over three years and invested several million dollars and is now ready to scale
