Description

Cynet is looking for a motivated and technically strong Security Sales Engineer to join our team in Italy. You'll work closely with the Sales team, helping prospects evaluate Cynet's platform while acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process.

What will you do
  • Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospects and partners.
  • Support technical evaluations, POCs, and deployments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey.
  • Translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Support teams.
  • Represent Cynet at customer meetings, events, and webinars.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solution Engineer, Security Consultant or Professional Services Engineer within the cybersecurity industry.
  • Strong experience with Endpoint Security, XDR, EDR, SIEM, SOAR, Identity Security, Cloud Security and Incident Response and Mitre TTPs
  • Experience designing and delivering technical demonstrations, Proof of Concept (PoC), workshops and customer enablement sessions.
  • Ability to understand customer business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience supporting Enterprise customers and Channel Partners throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.

Strong understanding of:

  •    Windows & Linux administration
  •    Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID
  •    Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls)
  •    MITRE ATT&CK Framework
  •    Threat Detection & Incident Response
  •    Microsoft 365 Security
  •    Azure and/or AWS

Hands-on experience with scripting languages is mandatory, including at least one of:

  • Python
  • PowerShell
  •  Bash
  • JavaScript

Proven experience designing and implementing:

  • SOAR integrations
  • Security workflow automation
  • Playbook development
  • API integrations (REST APIs, JSON)
  • Webhooks and automation frameworks

Proven experience responding to customer procurement requests, including:

  • RFP (Request for Proposal)
  • RFI (Request for Information)
  • RFQ (Request for Quotation)
  • RFE (Request for Enhancement)

Ability to:

  • Write high-quality technical responses.
  • Coordinate with Product Management and Engineering.
  • Produce architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Present technical and business value to executive stakeholders.
  • Artificial Intelligence in day to day work

Experience with one or more (nice to have):

  • SIEM technologies 
  • SOAR solutions
  • EDR/XDR
