Our Mission

Rebuild how the world works, to make institutions work better for the people they serve.

About Brain Co.

Brain Co. builds AI-native operating systems for large, regulated institutions. Each system is built for a specific industry, powered by agents that push real workflows forward. Underneath it all is Atlas, our proprietary platform that keeps customers in control, secure by design, and never locked into one model.

Why Now

Brain Co. is entering its next phase of production deployments on a national scale with an elite team built from Palantir, Google, Meta, and Nvidia, and a growing footprint across government, insurance, health, and financial services.

Joining now means shaping both the company and a new category of applied AI. Every project here ships to production and is expected to create measurable customer value and impact.

You'll work alongside exceptional peers on some of the hardest problems in applied AI. It’s the kind of work you'll still be proud of in ten years from now.

About the Role

We're hiring a Sales Engineer to be the technical force behind how Brain Co. wins new business in the US government space. You'll travel with our GTM teams into the room — federal agencies, state and local governments, and public sector institutions — and turn ambitious mission problems into concrete, credible AI solutions that close deals.

This is not a demo-from-a-script role. Government buyers are sophisticated, their problems are messy, and procurement cycles are won by the team that understands the agency's mission and constraints best. You'll be the bridge between what agencies need and what our engineers build — shaping solution architectures, scoping pilots, and giving government decision-makers the confidence to bet on Brain Co.

What You’ll Do
  • Travel with GTM teams to agency sites across the US, serving as the technical lead in pursuit of new government business

  • Run discovery with agency leaders, program offices, and technical staff to map mission workflows, data landscapes, and constraints — then translate them into actionable solution designs

  • Build and deliver compelling demos, proofs of concept, and technical proposals tailored to each agency's real mission problems

  • Own the technical narrative through the deal cycle: solution architecture, security and compliance requirements (FedRAMP, ATO processes, data governance), integration scoping, and pilot success criteria

  • Support capture and proposal efforts with technical volumes, responses to RFIs/RFPs, and architecture documentation

  • Partner with Deployed Engineering to ensure what we sell is what we ship — and that pilots convert to long-term production deployments

  • Feed customer insight back into product: what's blocking deals, what's resonating with agencies, and where the next mission opportunities are

  • Help build the government sales engineering playbook from the ground up — demo environments, technical collateral, and repeatable POC frameworks

You Might Be a Great Fit If you:
  • You bring 5+ years in sales engineering, solutions architecture, forward-deployed engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role

  • You have experience selling into the US public sector — federal, state, or local — with working knowledge of government procurement, contract vehicles, and security/compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, IL levels, ATO)

  • You have technical depth to be credible with agency engineers and CIOs alike: comfortable discussing AI/ML systems, APIs, data integration, and government cloud environments

  • You’re hands-on enough to build — you can stand up a demo, script a prototype, or debug a POC without waiting on someone else

  • You’re a natural communicator who can distill complex AI capabilities into clear mission value for agency executives and program operators

  • You are willing and excited to travel extensively across the US — you do your best work in the field, alongside customers

  • You are eager to own problems end-to-end and willing to acquire any necessary knowledge to get the job done

  • Regular travel (~50%) to government partners and Brain Co. offices will be expected

Why Join Us:
  • Work alongside senior engineers from Tesla, DeepMind, Databricks, and other top engineering orgs.

  • Ship fast, learn constantly, and see your work protect production systems used by millions.

  • Earn competitive compensation and meaningful equity in a high-growth company.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary plus equity

  • Daily lunches

  • Commuter benefits

  • 401(k)

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision

  • Unlimited PTO
