About the Opportunity:
Ericsson is seeking a Sales Intern to join our Sales team. This role offers hands-on exposure to customer engagement, account planning, sales operations, financial forecasting, and business development in a fast-paced technology environment. The intern will support the team in identifying opportunities, preparing customer-facing materials, analyzing market and account data, and helping strengthen relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders. This is an internship position.
What You Will Do: • Support the Sales team with customer engagement, account planning, sales operations, financial forecasting, and business development activities.• Gain awareness of Ericsson products and services solutions offerings to Tier1 customers.• Help prepare customer-facing materials, presentations, meeting notes, and follow-up actions.• Assist Sales Directors with all open Sales deals: the work involves using the Ericsson Sales processes and tools to progress the deal through the Sales Cycle culminating in a WIN.• Analyze account, market, and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, finance, business development, sales support, and delivery teams to support customer priorities and improve sales processes.
What You Will Bring:• Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance or Engineering• Strong communication skills with an interest in customer engagement and relationship building.• Analytical mindset with the ability to review data, identify insights, and summarize key takeaways.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.• Curiosity, initiative, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and contribute to team goals in a fast-paced environment.• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and contribute to team goals• Working knowledge of AI tools and how they can be applied to improve research, data analysis, customer insights, and sales productivity.
