This role partners closely with sales leaders and internal learning teams to help improve sales performance, seller productivity, and revenue outcomes.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in B2B sales or sales enablement and understands how sellers actually operate in the field. This consultant will help translate sales strategies into practical learning experiences, tools, and enablement assets that drive behavior change and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with client sales leaders and stakeholders to identify performance gaps across the sales lifecycle (prospecting, discovery, qualification, closing, expansion).
  • Apply subject matter expertise across core sales domains, including:
    • Sales methodologies (e.g., consultative selling, Challenger, MEDDICC, value-based selling)
    • Pipeline management and forecasting
    • Account strategy, territory planning, and growth motions
    • Sales coaching and front-line manager enablement
  • Translate sales strategies and performance insights into actionable learning experiences and enablement tools.
  • Collaborate closely with instructional designers to ensure learning solutions reflect real sales environments and behaviors.
  • Contribute to the creation of sales enablement and learning assets, including:
    • Sales playbooks and field guides
    • Messaging frameworks and value propositions
    • Talk tracks, objection handling guides, and qualification tools
    • Role-play scenarios and simulations
  • Facilitate or support sales training sessions, onboarding programs, and workshops as needed.
  • Help define and align learning and enablement metrics tied to sales effectiveness (e.g., conversion rates, deal velocity, pipeline quality).
  • Incorporate feedback and performance data to refine recommendations and continuously improve solutions.
Skills + Experience
  • 8+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, sales enablement, sales leadership, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience selling or supporting complex solutions in a multi-stakeholder sales environment.
  • Working knowledge of common sales methodologies and pipeline management practices.
  • Experience partnering with Learning + Development, Enablement, or Consulting teams preferred.
  • Strong ability to translate strategy into practical tools, behaviors, and learning experiences.
  • Comfortable working in client-facing, advisory, or project-based environments.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
