- Lead client engagement by developing and managing strong relationships with middle management and key decision-makers within large and medium-sized customer accounts.
- Manage sales transaction pipelines, ensure accurate forecasting, and hold sales staff accountable for achieving assigned revenue and performance targets.
- Demonstrate strong market insight and expertise in industry developments and trends to shape and execute effective go-to-market strategies.
- Manage the performance of direct reports by defining clear accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing ongoing feedback, career coaching, and development guidance.
- Develop, coach, and motivate sales professionals by transferring consultative selling skills, sales techniques, service offerings, and industry knowledge to drive consistent results.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including adherence to the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Code of Conduct, as well as all physical and digital security practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of related professional experience, including at least 3 years of proven management or leadership experience, or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Prior working experience in Hardlines, Furniture, and Toys is highly preferred.
- Strong managerial background is mandatory, with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales teams.
- Extensive knowledge of company policies, sales processes, and best practices.
- Expert knowledge of sales strategies and tactics, with the ability to influence outcomes and drive performance.
- Proven ability to gain cooperation and effectively present technical or commercial information to senior management and customers.
- Willingness and ability to undertake significant business travel and work outside of the office as required.
