Powersports Sales Management Experience is Required.
The Sales Manager is responsible for executing the dealership’s sales strategy through disciplined deal desking, pricing control, and process execution across showroom and digital channels. This role is hands-on and highly transactional, requiring strong command of the desking process, deal structure, and real-time coaching to drive volume, gross, and customer experience in a high-velocity environment. The Sales Manager owns the deal flow from first pencil to final approval, ensuring consistency, profitability, and compliance while developing the sales team’s skills and accountability.
The Sales Managers also execute the dealership’s sales process on the floor and partnering with the digital channel, driving daily sales activity, and coaching the sales team to achieve volume, gross, and customer experience objectives. This role is highly hands-on and requires strong leadership presence, process discipline, and the ability to close deals while developing people.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily sales floor operations and customer flow
- Execute and enforce the dealership sales process from lead to delivery
- Desk deals, structure pricing, and support closing efforts
- Coach, train, and motivate sales consultants through role play and real-time feedback
- Hold accountable processes daily with the Floor Managers
- Partner with F&I to maximize PUS and product penetration
- Monitor inventory availability, aging, and presentation
- Conduct daily sales huddles and performance reviews
- Ensure accurate CRM usage, deal documentation, and compliance
- Support promotional events, OEM programs, and seasonal initiatives
- Address customer concerns and escalations as needed
- 2–5 years of sales leadership experience in powersports, automotive, or RV
- Prior experience as a Sales Manager
- Strong understanding of sales processes, desking, and closing techniques
- Experience working with CRM systems and digital retail tools
- Proven ability to coach, hold accountability, and drive performance
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
