Job Summary

The Sales & Marketing Technology Strategist supports the design, execution, and ongoing management of SHI’s sales and marketing technology ecosystem. Operating at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, and IT, this role helps intake business requests, design scalable solutions, support platform execution, and ensure efficient delivery across systems.
This position plays a critical role in aligning Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Marketo, and integrated technologies to deliver streamlined processes, high-quality data, and effective marketing and sales outcomes. Reporting to the Digital Growth department within the Marketing organization, the Sales & Marketing Technology Strategist serves as a strategic internal consultant, driving technology adoption and identifying innovative ways to leverage sales and marketing technologies to support business objectives.

Role Description

  • Serve as a strategic advisor for sales and marketing technology, guiding stakeholders toward scalable and standardized solutions aligned with enterprise systems and data strategy.

  • Manage the intake, prioritization, and delivery of requests, enhancements, and issues across CRM and marketing platforms while maintaining clear backlog visibility.

  • Translate business needs into structured requirements and partner with development teams to ensure accurate and timely execution.

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and capabilities, ensuring alignment across Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Marketo, and integrated systems.

  • Design and optimize workflows, integrations, and data processes to enable seamless system interoperability and efficient operations.

  • Drive marketing automation effectiveness by supporting campaign execution, lead management processes, and sales and marketing alignment.

  • Ensure platform governance through data quality management, process standardization, documentation, and license utilization oversight.

  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and track outcomes while proactively communicating updates and driving resolution across stakeholders.

  • Champion technology adoption and user enablement by partnering with cross-functional teams and Learning & Development (L&D) to improve the user experience and maximize technology value.

Other Requirements

  • 3–8+ years of experience in CRM, marketing technology, marketing operations, business systems, or a related field.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or marketing automation platforms such as Marketo.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and IT teams.

  • Ability to travel 10%

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
